Sarah Jane wakes up rather confused. This wasn't where she was when she woke up. Had she been teleported?
She looks around the house, trying to work out where she is. She quickly comes across the family pictures.]
That's not Luke... is this the Trickster's doing?

[Later in the day, Sarah Jane is continuing her investigations. You might find her:
A. In the shopping district, trying to find a decent newspaper.
B. In the street, patiently explaining to a drone that her name is most certainly not "Mrs. Black".
C. At the library, growing distressed at how much information there isn't.]

Right. Neither of those children are yours, let alone real. I'm not so sure about the concept of different worlds, but there is definitely heavy magic at work.
None of it is real. Most of the people aren't. Some of the people are like us, taken from home, or in my case, from the dead, and placed here to live out lives like cattle. They do things some times, to test us. Terrible, traumatizing things. But afterwords, for the most part, it goes back to normal, this stasis we're all in. We can't change it, and we can't leave.
