Investigation 1

[Action for 2238 Stevens Road]

Sarah Jane wakes up rather confused. This wasn't where she was when she woke up. Had she been teleported?

She looks around the house, trying to work out where she is. She quickly comes across the family pictures.]

That's not Luke... is this the Trickster's doing?

[Open action]

[Later in the day, Sarah Jane is continuing her investigations. You might find her:

A. In the shopping district, trying to find a decent newspaper.

B. In the street, patiently explaining to a drone that her name is most certainly not "Mrs. Black".

C. At the library, growing distressed at how much information there isn't.]

[Sarah Jane hugs back, slightly confused]

You too, but how is this even possible?

We've...sort've been dragged to some sort of parallel world. Or universe, I'm not sure. Someone in this 'town's brought people here to play out a real-life doll house...and we're the dolls.

[Sarah Jane finds this prospect more than a little troubling]

Parallel world? That means... pretty high level technology, then.

"Seems to be, yeah. They've dragged the Doctor here, too...an they've got the TARDIS somewhere t'be trotted out and shown off when they want to." And whoever they were, they could reach across universes, if they'd gotten both she and the Doctor.

They managed to get the TARDIS?

[Now that worries her, quite visibly.]

haha wow format slip.

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-01-31 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
[She nods, frowning.]

They seem to have her...but I don't think they can get in yet.

I have to remind myself to use brackets constantly

[identity profile] after-thesky.livejournal.com 2011-01-31 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Well... that's something.

[Not much, but a start...]

I don't like the thought of whoever brought us here having access.

I'm usually pretty good with it, too :| :|

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-02-01 01:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[she shakes her head, still frowning.]

S'why we need to get her back before they can.

[identity profile] after-thesky.livejournal.com 2011-02-02 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely. Is there a place that they tend to keep things locked in around here?

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-02-04 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that I know of, no. We've got no idea where they're hiding her.

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-02-09 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
That they're capable of bringing her here and taking her away on a whim. That anyone who stays here long enough becomes like him. [She nods at the drone who Sarah Jane had been arguing with.] And that the milk they deliver in th'mornings is poisoned.

[identity profile] after-thesky.livejournal.com 2011-02-10 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
So some sort of mind control, then.

[Does that ever take her back.]

Okay, don't drink the milk.

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-02-12 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
Somethin' like that, yeah. I've seen them do that to people on a temporary basis, too. [She's not entirely sure why they haven't done that to everyone outright if they can...perhaps it wouldn't be as fun.]

Yeah. But the milk at th'store's fine.

[identity profile] after-thesky.livejournal.com 2011-02-13 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Did you ever run afoul of mind control when you were with the Doctor? I don't recommend the experience.

That's something, at least.

[She's had to concern herself more with things like milk since becoming a mum, after all.]

[identity profile] dimensioncannon.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
Mind control? Not...specifically, but I can imagine it's terrible.

S'far as we know it's the only poisonous food t'find.
