Has anyone been watching the behaviour of the rest of the alleged "Smith" family? This doesn't fit the drone script, and it can't have been in their plan. If we're right about Lucy, she might tip her hand.

I'm not the Doctor - not exactly, anyway, I'm the other one. Do you remember, from the thing with the Daleks? I go by Dexter now. And I've no clue what I'm doing here, actually, I only turned up a few weeks ago.

It's a peculiar problem. Nothing I have has been able to pick up anything unusual about the town... except my eyes, of course.

The town occasionally returns items after major events. The sonic lipstick is probably the most useful. I have the watch, but it hasn't been able to detect anything at all. Last time, it was a picture of Luke.

But the thing with the Smiths, that did seem significant. I take it that was odd even by Mayfield standards?

I'm sure your Torchwood will turn something up sooner or later, if it's anything like on our side.

Most of the time, the Smiths follow the same strict script the drones do. Particularly the mother.

I've only seen Jane's--Samantha's corpse in recent days. But no, I can't imagine that this was part of anyone's plans at all. It sends a message, sure, but why send that message through a so-called "model citizen" like her?

Something must have happened. I'd like to see what Lucy does with this.

This seems too big for them to just stick to the script indefinitely. The trick is going to be to catch whatever's about to happen.

I'd suggest visiting the home under the guise of neighborly courtesy, but... well, the last time I tried infiltrating the Smith home, it ended very badly.

That could be our first anomaly. Especially considering that he's usually on top of keeping us all in line when things go awry.

If he was following the script, he'd be making a big show of investigating this shocking development. Most likely ending with accusations against "Communist Spies". The timing is too close to be a coincidence.
